This is the site dedicated to the black stork. Or, to be precise, the monitoring of the migration to Africa of these majestic birds. Below you will find various tools to make it easier for you to follow this journey, with as much interactivity and useful information as possible.

But, first of all, here is a brief profile of the
black stork. Signs of presence, diet, habitat, reproduction, geographical distribution, nesting populations, threats, protection status, special conservation measures.
By opening the Atlas of the maps, you will see the routes taken by the storks flying from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany to Africa. The Czech project Afrika Odysea, provides us with information on the storks fitted with radio transmitters in that country.

The photo album contains the best shots taken by Gérard Jadoul and his team on the road to Africa. Two sections of the album include documents on the storks and their environment in Europe and Africa.
